Welcome to my blog!

My passion for food and a delicious lifestyle can no longer be contained.  This blog is to document my creations in the kitchen as well as the gastronomical experiences that ignite this creativity.  Although my experiments tend to be on the healthy side (to some people's dismay), I will show you that quality ingredients are the key to any delicious recipe.  What's a corporate girl to do when she's feeling dull?  Why, cook of course!

Hey girl...Today was the first day I had a chance to check out your blog which is awesome. I love the way you write. I have a cooking request. I am eating no dairy and gluten free. Most meals are easy, but dessert is hard (i am getting tired of rice crispy treats) to find or make. Any ideas?

Hey Darcy! Thanks for checking out my site :-)... Sorry about the rice krispy treats, maybe we can get together over thanksgiving and throw some yummy Gluten Free/Dairy Free desserts together? I have a couple recipes in mind... In the meantime, some good ingredients that replace gluten & dairy in desserts are: gluten Free baking mix that can be found at whole foods, Almond Milk/Soy Milk, Brown Rice Syrup, Brown Rice Flour. Also check out this site, http://glutenfreegirl.blogspot.com/

Hope that helps... for now!
